2026 Virtual TCS New York City Marathon- October 24- November 1, 2026

Team for Kids runners receive guaranteed entry to the 2026 Virtual TCS New York City Marathon while raising critical funds to support NYRR youth and community programs, including Rising New York Road Runners. Rising New York Road Runners - NYRR’s free youth program and events platform—helps to build students’ motivation, confidence, and desire to be physically active for life. You can help further that mission and inspire the next generation of runners and athletes by running with Team for Kids in the 2026 Virtual TCS New York City Marathon!

The Team for Kids Advantage

Perks of running with Team for Kids include:

• Guaranteed entry to the 2026 Virtual TCS New York City Marathon
• Unlimited access to our team of coaches via email and phone
• Fundraising resources and support, including a personal fundraising page, to help you meet your fundraising goal
• Signature Team for Kids green racing singlet
• Guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon as a general runner. To be eligible for entry to the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon, runners must:    
   -Fulfill their fundraising commitment by Wednesday, October 14, 2026
  -Complete the NYRR race registration for the virtual 2026 race (including registration fee)
  -Complete the virtual marathon between Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. and Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Runners must complete the full 26.2-mile distance in a single run activity in one 24-hour period. Please note that indoor and treadmill runs are not eligible for NYRR virtual races.
  -Upload results to Strava by 11:59 p.m. Sunday November 1, 2026
  -TFK Virtual participants cannot be signed up for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon in-person event.
  -TFK Virtual participants cannot already have a guaranteed entry to the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon, such as through the 2026 9+1 Program, previous cancellation, etc.

Fundraising Commitment

Team for Kids runners commit to fundraising a minimum of $2,000, due in full by 11:59 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The sign-up process requires a payment method to be saved to your profile. If the fundraising pledge is not met, the remaining balance is charged to the card on file on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

In addition to the fundraising pledge, TFK members are responsible for a $45 TFK sign-up fee and the race registration fee ($185.06 for members, $211.50 for non-members).
